This morning when i open my email box, I see my advisor's letter "because of O'Connor's funeral, how about we meet 2pm". That makes me confused, and then phones to my boss to deal with the time and place of the meeting.
Mayor O'Connor was a news for me. He died in UPMC Shadyside hospital, most famous cancer cure center, which is only 5 minits from our house. Every time i go to bus stop i will wait in front of it. Just the first few days when i came here, every morning i can see a few news cars stopped there. I learnt from friends that mayor took his surgery there and the surgery was very good. But only fews days leter, I saw the American flag flying at the half level on its pole and I knew the Mayor died.
I also heard some other news. According to the policy, the succession Mayor is a 26-year-old guy, also a honest and good guy. They have a council. Because he is the present of the council, he is so lucky that he became Mayor at his age to 26.
I also saw a long line of people in front of the funeral, waiting to see the Mayor last time, on my way home from bues.
